At the newly designed rock’n’popmuseum, visitors may look forward to a thematically and visually fascinating trip through the dimensions of pop music.
Elaborately staged showcases make up the themed islands dealing with terms such as “rebellion”, “live on stage” or “performance”.
With our new music club Turbine in the basement of the museum, we have created a new and iconic venue with room for up to 300 guests. Here, you can enjoy lots of live music, but also DJ events, temporary exhibitions and cross-sector cultural events. The venue can also be hired for private or company events.
The interactive special exhibition in the rock’n’popmuseum is dedicated to the everlasting phenomenon Ludwig van Beethoven for six months. A pop star during his lifetime, enthusiasm for his work continues to the present day. Exhibits, sound and video recordings as well as an innovative exhibition design surprise the visitor and show him that Beethoven can still be found everywhere today, in advertising, in cell phone ringtones, in comic strips or in the songs of current hip-hop or heavy metal artists.
MOREThe Eddie van Halen special exhibition as a digital tour!
This in no way replaces the live experience of the exhibition, but primarily serves to get a first glimpse into the exhibition. From autumn 2021 the special exhibition can be experienced live in the museum with lots of insider information and music on your ears!
Have fun!
